Kansas City Board of Public Utilities BPU Serving the Water and Electric Needs of Kansas City, Kansas

Kansas Energy Efficiency Program (KEEP)

The Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) funds half of the home improvement loan, up to a maximum of $7,500, partnered with Sunflower Bank who funds the rest. Funding comes from Governor Sebelius’ Warm Homes Initiative. KEEP offers a zero interest rate on KHRC funds, which creates a lower overall “blended” interest rate.
