BPU was proud to host the 21st Public Power Lineworkers Rodeo in Bonner Springs, KS in early April.
The “Rodeo”, which attracted 300 competitors from utilities across the nation, is the foremost
showcase of lineworker skill and knowledge in the industry and a unique opportunity for lineworkers
to attend training, and connect and learn from one another in a safe environment. Two of BPU’s
apprentices recorded the highest scores ever for our utility, and participants couldn’t say enough
about the training facilities and staff that volunteered throughout the weekend's educational event.
